Our Story

Routes Coffee began with two friends, a shared obsession, and a journey through more than 30 countries.

From the coffee farms of Indonesia, Colombia, Costa Rica and Kenya to the café culture of Tokyo, Sydney, Porto Alegre and San Francisco, we spent years crossing continents, learning from the farmers, roasters and baristas who dedicate their lives to exceptional coffee. Along the way, we built a community connected by a simple belief: coffee is worth caring about.

Today, we roast in Oxford using coffees sourced directly from producers we know and trust. Every coffee is selected with intention, roasted with precision, and shared with the same curiosity that first brought us together.

We're proud to be the UK's first Regenified Certified coffee roaster. For us, regeneration isn't a label, it's a commitment to the land, the people who grow our coffee, and the future of the industry.
